德罗赞说道：“韦德和乔-约翰逊，我觉得乔-约翰逊真的很难抵挡。我记住我的第一个季后赛系列赛便是对阵乔。并且我彻底体会到了单打乔的凶猛，尤其是其时我还很年青。现在我打球的风格有一部分是由于单打乔的影响，他打球节奏很慢，会用身体挡人，找到得分的方位，冲向篮筐。”
